Privacy policy

We measure how the site is used without cookies, without storing your IP address and without identifying you.

What we record

We store our own usage events in Cloudflare D1, our database hosted on Cloudflare:

  • page view;
  • search start: the first change you make in the search form (not just clicking or focusing a field);
  • search submit;
  • partner click, recorded by /api/go when you open Aviasales or AirHelp;
  • Core Web Vitals performance metrics (LCP, INP, CLS, FCP, TTFB).

Each event keeps only: event type, time, page path, page type, language, route codes (for example MEX-DFW) when the page is about a route, the link's placement or SubID, the device class (mobile or desktop) and the country reported by Cloudflare's network.

What we don't record

  • We use no cookies.
  • We do not store your IP address.
  • We assign no user or session identifiers and do not fingerprint your browser.
  • We do not ask for or store names, emails, passport data or the details of your personal trip.
  • We do not load Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or ad trackers.

How long

Events are kept for 400 days and then deleted.

Cloudflare

Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site. To do so it processes your requests and may use strictly necessary security cookies, under its privacy policy.

Storage on your device

A service worker stores the offline page in your browser so it can be shown if you lose your connection. It contains no personal data.

Partner sites

When you open Aviasales (through Travelpayouts) or AirHelp, those sites apply their own privacy policies and cookies: Travelpayouts, Aviasales and AirHelp.

If you email us

If you write to hola@flightsmx.com, we use your email only to reply. We do not sell or share it.

Your rights

Under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask to access, correct, delete or object to the use of data that identifies you. Email hola@flightsmx.com. Note that usage events contain no data that identifies you.

If we change what we record, we will update this page and its date. See also our cookie policy.
